Our Prayers Are Making A Difference
Women Of The Nation our prayers are making a difference. As we enter this season of celebration of the birth
of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I am so very thankful for the blessings of the Lord upon our lives and
nation. I thank God and worship Him for all He has done for this nation and God’s people within this nation.
In Psalm 26:1 (Passion Translation) we declare together this prayer, “You be my judge and declare me
innocent! Clear my name, for I have tried my best to keep your laws and to trust You without wavering.
Lord, You can scrutinize me. Your faithfulness has steadied my steps.”
Then in verse 11-12 we pray together, “I’m not like them, Lord-not at all. Save me, redeem me with Your
mercy, for I have chosen to walk only in what is right. I will proclaim it publicly in every congregation, and
because of You, Lord, I will take my stand on righteousness alone!”
Psalm 27:1 “The Lord is my revelation-light to guide me along the way, He’s the source of my salvation to
defend me every day. I fear no one! I’ll never turn back and run from You, Lord; surround and protect me.”
Then in verses 5-6 “In His shelter in the day of trouble, that’s where you’ll find me, for He hides me there in
His holiness. He has smuggled me into His secret place, where I’m kept safe and secure-out of reach from
all my enemies. Triumphant now, I’ll bring Him my offerings of praise, singing and shouting with ecstatic joy!”
Last verse to pray together from this chapter (verse 11), “Now teach me all about Your ways and tell me what
to do. Make it clear for me to understand, for I am surrounded by waiting enemies.”
America is proclaimed as one nation under God, and Israel is God’s chosen people. As we stand together
linking arm in arm we become the adopted children into God’s family through the blood of Jesus Christ. God’s
children need four things: acceptance, focused attention, guidance, and protection. God meets all four of these
emotional needs through His merciful gift of His Son to bring us into His family! We are not insecure but
secure in the mercy of a loving Father God!
